چکیده

The energy management strategy is the key to increasing efficiency index (EEI) and controlling buildings' carbon emissions. This article discusses policy at Siliwangi University based on four main components of green campus: profile electricity load, consumption, rate number vehicles, vehicle activity in campus environment. We propose scenarios meet EEI emissions standards 2025. analysis emission production uses UI Green Metric approach by referring from Climate Action Tracker (CAT) world bank. Simultaneously, ASEAN-USAID standard, which also used Indonesian National Standard (SNI). conclusion that even with highest scenario target level 2025, can only reach “Extremely Efficient” category for area AC facilities Extremely-Inefficient class facilities. results show most considerable contribution motorbikes, 66%, cars buses 33% use 1.4%. Although does not have a significant impact, tendency towards waste. must immediately implement electric vehicles reduce mobility cars, Keywords: Energy, Strategy, Carbon Footprint, Energy Efficiency Index, JEL Classifications: C33, E210, E310, O470 DOI: https://doi.org/10.32479/ijeep.11310

A Performance Improvement System (College-Net) for Energy Saving in Campus Networks towards Green Computing

In corporate networks, idle desktop machines hardly ever sleep, mainly for the reason that turning off the hosts will affect the internet connection. There are number of systems have been proposed, few of them have mutually considered energy consumption and performance. In this article, we consider the case of file downloading, which is one of the most common internet applications. A system cal...

Improving Cache Energy Efficiency for Green Computing

Green computing refers to the study and practice of designing, operating and disposing computing systems effectively in a manner which creates minimal or no impact on the environment. With increasing use of computing systems, their total energy consumption has also increased and it has been estimated that the carbon emission of ICT (information and communication technology) will triple from 200...

Energy efficiency in a building complex through seasonal storage of thermal energy in a confined aquifer

Confined aquifers are formations surrounded by impermeable layers called cap rocks and bed rocks. These aquifers are suitable for the seasonal storage of thermal energy. A confined aquifer was designed to meet the cooling and heating energy needs of a residential building complex located in Tehran, Iran. The annual cooling and heating energy needs of the buildings were estimated to be 8.7...
